Mangletm
Introduction
Use this shareware utility ( register it for $20.00 ) in conjunction with your MFC extension DLL project development.
It will automatically extract mangled DLL-based methods from a project MAP file and written to the DEF file. Methods
MUST be listed in the DEF file in order to not get "undefined external" errors when using an extension
DLL in an application project. If MANGLE is helpful to you, please register it. Send $20.00 to: Art Cote 3225 East Quayside Drive Cooper City, Florida 33026 Contact me at artcote@hotmail.com with bugs. Thanks, Art. |
List of Classes
Enter the name of a class with methods to be included into the DEF file. If you make a mistake, hit the clear button. ( The registered version has additional functionality in this area ).
Open Map...This button opens a dialog to select the map file of your project. Navigate to the project directory and select the map file. Visual C++ map files are found in the debug directory.
After you select the map file, MANGLE parses for methods of the listed classes and puts them in the list box on the screen.
Select the methods ( the parser should list all the methods that are required by the DEF file ).
Write Def...
Pressing this button opens a dialog for selecting a project DEF file. On selection, the DEF file is open and the methods are written ( a header starts the method section written by MANGLE ). Once the methods are written, the application closes.
